ReplyDeleteI loved This is Where I Leave You and The Book Thief. Their Eyes Were Watching God is one of my favorites - I adore Zora Neale Hurston.

ReplyDeleteThe Book Thief is only one of two WWII books I have enjoyed. And I really liked Ghosted.
ReplyDeleteThe Book Thief was one of my all-time favorites! I also really enjoyed A Simple Favor, This Is Where I Leave You, and Their Eyes Were Watching God. Have you seen any of the film adaptations of those?

ReplyDeleteI think I'm the only person I know who didn't like The Book Thief. I should've, by all accounts, but I didn't finish it. Oh well. The War That Saved My Life was so much better.
